Ceramic Studio

Kathleen works out of her home studio in Pemberton Meadows. She has always been drawn to stones. Their ageless beauty, strength, and quiet presence give her a sense of peace and balance. She tries to simulate the textures and patterns that you find amongst rocks and pebbles.

To achieve these varied textures, Kathleen uses five different types of clay and fires her work in sawdust, using a technique called Naked Raku.
