North Vancouver's Shipyards Night Market brings back food, beer and family fun

North Vancouver's Shipyards Night Market brings back food, beer and family fun

Mark your calendars for Friday nights in May through September for the return of the North Shore’s popular Shipyards Night Market.

Running May 3 to September 27, 2019, the Shipyards Night Market will once again liven up Shipbuilders’ Square in North Vancouver’s lower Lonsdale with over 100 vendors, including food trucks, and a 19+ beer garden.

Launched in 2011, the Shipyards Night Market is run by North Shore Green Markets, with a very green mission indeed: The low-waste market boasts they only generate a couple of bags of garbage per event, and that all of the refuse is sorted for recycling and compost by local high school students.

With a “hot food alley” stacked with dozens of food trucks, the Shipyards Night Market is one of the summer’s most delicious pop-up weekend eats destinations. Plus you can sip on craft beer and cider in the beer garden, shop from the many vendor stalls, and enjoy live entertainment.

Shipyards Night Market is located steps from the SeaBus landing at Lonsdale Quay, which means if you’re coming from Vancouver, you can easily ditch the car for the trip over and use public transit instead.
